Convert Opportunity Back to Lead

Is there to automatically convert an Opportunity back into a Lead. Let's say you convert the Lead into an Opportunity and at some point during the sales process, the Opportunity fails and you change the status to Closed-Lost. Is there a way to make the corresponding Lead automatically change back from converted to recycled or some such status?

You can add a custom logic hook to have the lead status change automatically based on the opportunity status. This would take less than an hour to implement for someone who had done logic hooks before.
