Convert Target not update to campaign

I used the 'Convert Target' function to convert a target into a Lead, in the Campaign field, I selected a campaign. After saving, I go to the campaign record. In the View Status page, the no. of Leads Created is not incremented, and the lead is not shown in the Leads Created list.

I believe campaigns are complete broken wrt to targets.

I suggest that you use leads instead or manually convert targets to leads.

I believe you need to click "Mark as Sent" in the campaign view.

Also when you convert a target to a lead, I believe the campaign field for the lead is for conversion credit.

If you want it to show up as sent, scroll to the bottom of new Lead view and find the Campaign Log sub section. You can add a campaign manually there and it will now show up as "sent" in the View Stats of the campaign.

Other than that we have been unable to use campaigns.
