Converting e-mails to leads

Hi all,

I'm pretty new in Sugar, so please be patient for me.

I'm wondering how to convert "formatted" e-mail message from some mail account to - let's say - lead.

In example, I have form on my website, which send formatted message to some e-mail.

Company:{company_name}
Person:{person_name}

And so on...

How to convert this to lead in Sugar, which functions should I use?

I've done something very similar before, but it requires a custom PHP script as there isn't a built-in feature that does it.

The script essentially polls the mailbox where the messages in question are received, automatically retrieved and then automatically creates the lead record in Sugar.
