Default Converting a lead results in contact-email used for account-email

    Hello again!

I'm almost through with my project, there's just a little quirk here and there that I have to find out and SugarCRM will be working perfectly. Thanks to the help from this community I might add.

Right now I'm curious about one thing:
when converting a lead to an account, the lead-eMail fills in for the account-eMail if the field has been left empty. This can create some inconvenience for my project process. Is there a way to tell sugar not to fill in the lead's email address into a converted account at all?

I already perused the ConvertLead.php, but I didn't catch anything that might do this.

    Thanks in advance!

Default Re: Converting a lead results in contact-email used for account-email

Hi, I have the same problem

When i trying convert lead into contact + create new Account. Email of lead person are going into account email . This make mess in my db. Accounts should have firm emails not emails of converted persons.

    How to block this behavior?

    Regards
    SugarCRM 6.0.1 CE
