Unhappy This copy of the SugarCRM customer relationship management program appears to have le

I've had sugarcrm installed for probably a year and a half so far without any major problems. Today I try to log in and get this message:

This copy of the SugarCRM customer relationship management program appears to have legal notices or author attributions modified or removed in violation of the GNU General Public License version 3. Please contact SugarCRM Inc. to correct this problem.

I have made no changes to any of the sugarcrm files and there are 2 notices about the gpl with links to the license along with the sugarcrm logo. Does anyone know a resolution? Thanks

I'm having the same problem. Also, I can't create new cases anymore, does anyone know if these things are related and how to fix it?

I am having the same issue. I just did a test upgrade from 4.5.1 to 5.1.0c and now when I login I get this message:

This copy of the SugarCRM customer relationship management program appears to have legal notices or author attributions modified or removed in violation of the SugarCRM Subscription Agreement. Please contact SugarCRM Inc. to correct this problem.

I also can't access the Cases or the Accounts modules any more

Did you modify any built in views or images?

I found out what the problem was. I did not have php-mbstring package installed on my clone/test server. Once I installed that package (yum install php-mbstring) the Legal Notice no longer appeared.

Worked for me also. Moved to another server, kept getting that message. I had to install php-mbstring on new server. Problem solved.

    Thank you
