Hi guys,
Very much a newbie Sugar user here. I have searched the forums but cannot find any threads talking about my particular problem.
We installed three copies of Sugar CRM, for development, staging and live. We now want to move the work we did on the development system to live. The files are identical (I used rsync) and then I used MySqldump to get the db into a file, and then edited the resultant file to replace the three instances of the database name with that of the live one. I then used MySql to re-fill the database with the dev contents (yes, we were happy to zap the whole live one, as it's not really live yet)
It all seemed to work fine, and the data and tables look identical... until I tried to connect. In my browser I get an error "Sugar CRM 5.1.0a Files May Only Be Used With A Sugar CRM 5.1.0 Database." which is just weird - all three systems are 5.1.0a!
Any ideas? Is what I am trying to do not sensible? is there a better way of deploying from a development server to a live one?
Cheers
Simon West
