Create graphic using data in DB

Hi all,
I'm new to SugarCRM.
I've just installed it to my PC and I'm trying to generate a graphic (like the one in the image below) using data in my MySQL DB.



I tried to add and edit Dashlets in the Dashboard section but I cannot extract data from my DB.

How can I connect it?

Try providing more info about your Sugar, as a start.

I think what you need to do is to create a report first (a summary report - I assume you are using 5.0x). Once you save this, you can embed it in your dashboard - from your post you seem to know how to add dashlets; one of the choices there is to add any summary report you have access to.
