Create Lead Form Fields

I am using Version 6.1.4 (Build 5822) and want to control the fields used in the "Create Lead Form" wizard. Where do I control these fields? I am interested in changing the last_name being required to not required and want to make other changes.

Last_name is a required field of Leads.
If you set it to not reqired i the WebToLead form, you will not be able to open these Leads in the normal Leads listview of SugarCRM. So you must make some other changes.

Look to the generated html code, so you will understand how a field can be made required or not required
