Create lead and subscribe them to a list

I have a newsletter campaign setup in SugarCRM CE, and would like to setup a page for visitors to the website to subscribe to our mailing list. I can use the WebToLeadCapture process to create the lead, and associate them with the campaign, but I can't get them subscribed to the list.

I'm not sure if I've missed something simple, but I've also checked the SOAP function list and there doesn't appear to be a method for me to create a custom form and process it using SOAP either.

Would greatly appreciate some help with this.

To get the new lead subscribed on that mailing list you need to implement a logic_hook after_save on Leads module.
