is there a way to create teams in the community open source edition (5.1). we would have about 50 users which we'd like to manage in around 10 teams. is there a way? or roles can do the same?

By defult the Teams module is avaliable just in Profesional or Enterprise edition, but there are some teams modules or same module like teams in Sugar Forge, take a look there.

my colleague put http://www.sugarforge.org/projects/ce-teams team module into our system. now i've started to create teams and organise users into the teams. however, i'm trying to find out how the Teams will reflect with Roles and whether the 'reports to' section in user accounts make a hierarchy between users in the same team?(so if Adam reports to John and they are in the same team then is there a setting that John can see Adam's entries such as accounts calls, leads etc, but Adam can't see John's? Also, between the different teams how do i set hierarchy? thanks in advance!
Teams and Roles function independantly and compliment each other.
Roles (in CE) limit which modules a user can access and the level of access.
Teams limit which records in those modules a user can access.
The reports to simply adds every user's manager to all his teams so that managers can always see everything their subordinates can see. So even if John is not in Adam's team he will added as a member because Adam reports to him.

thanks for your help! isnt there a manual about the CE Teams that you could send me? i still dont understand if it is possible to have a 'manager' within the team who can view his team members' data but those members cannot see his data.. ? thanks, eszter
