I want to create some new "Call" and "Meeting" reminder times... 1 day prior, 5 days prior, etc.

I see in the Calendar where to edit the drop-down for Reminders, but WILL IT change the cron so that I actually get a pop-up a day or 5 days before? I don't see where editing the drop-down will change when the pop-up is done?
