Create Note or Attachment not saving under Opportunities

Hi,

Anyone knows why Create Note or Attachment doesn't work when it's done under an Opportunity. It works only for Contacts and Accounts.
When I create a note for an Opportunity and click Save, the History box closes up and nothing happens. I checked the mysql db, only the records for parent_type = contact or account are being saved.
This started after upgrading to Sugar Open source ver 4.5.0f

Hi,

Could you give more information about your environment and what version was you using before upgrading?

In our system which was originally a 4.2.x which we migrated, we have no problems attaching notes to Opportunities

I have Sugar installed on Win2003/PHP 4.4.2/mySQL 4.1.2

I upgraded Sugar from version 4.2.0d to 4.2.1d then to 4.5.0f.

The only thing that I haven't done yet after the upgrade is merging the view.html files (the layouts of those files were customized in the previous installation).

Here's an update.

I have 2 instances of Sugar, one running on my own PC (with Apache on WinXP) and another on a server (IIS6).
The problem mentioned above was only happening on the server after I upgraded to version 4.5.0f.
On my own PC, I did a fresh install of 4.5.0f...no upgrade... and everything was working fine with the Notes/Attachements for Opportunities.
Today, I decided to import the mysql database I have on the server to my own PC. After doing that, the same problem is now happening on the instance of Sugar on my own PC.

So this seems to be some kind of problem with the mysql tables?

Any ideas?

OK I fixed it!

Running "Repair Database" from the admin section of Sugar did it!
