Create Task goes to blank page - help

WIndows 2000 Server, SCRM version 4.5.1e, PHP 5.2.4, mysql 5.0.24, Apache 2

My users are getting blank web pages when they create a task and assign a user to it (not themselves) and click the save button.

It does not happen when setting up a Call or Meeting.

If they do not assign a user, but keep the default assign to, the task is saved successfully.

To add to the issue, for some reason it assigns the first contact in the database even though I did not.

Edit your php.ini file and set display_errors - On. This will allow you to see the PHP error that is causing the blank screen. You could also look in your sugarcrm.log file and see if there are any errors there.
