create workflow, module not shown in dropdown list

Hello,

i am having problem with a module not showing up in drodown list when i want to create a workflow. I have couple of custom modules and every other module is in the list except this one. Missing module is custom.

Can someone direct me in some point, where to look for a solution?

My working edition is sugar 6 Ent.

Hi !

Is your modules template is 'Sales' ? if yes this is not appearing in wrokflow drop down
since you are using Ent , you can ask Sugar Customer Support

My module is based on basic module, like rest of modules from the package, but only this one is not showing on dropdown list. It doesn't have any relationships too.

1) clear cache of your Internet browser ,
2) clear datacache , template data cache from admin repair

Just wondering guys did you happen to figure this issue out, as I'm in the same situation. I've cleared the cached in the browser and done a repair and rebuild on Sugar but still one custom module doesn't appear in the workflow drop down.

I am having this issue as well. It seems like any module not created with team security enabled is not listed when creating workflows. Unfortunately, enabling team security does not fix the issue. Does anybody have any thoughts on getting this working without re-creating the module with team security enabled from the beginning? I have a lot of fields and relationships defined and I would hate to have to start over just to be able to define workflows for the custom module.

I had a similar problem. I had to import custom modules and create some workflows based on them. I've managed to deal with the problem this way:

- find include/utils.php file
- it contains get_workflow_admin_modules_for_user and is_admin_for_module functions
- comment "return $_SESSION[...." stuff there and reload any workflow related page
- fresh data is written to your session and you can use new modules now
- don't forget to go back to source code and uncomment those lines

I think it's a module loader bug. But it's really hard to find it. Everything works fine on simple cases.

I am having this issue with a 6.2.3 installation. I have created 2 new objects in module builder and deployed them, yet I can't see them as available objects when creating a new workflow definition.
