Created tasks associated with an account do not show up under that account

Using SugarCRM 4.5.1b, when a task is created from "Create Task" either from a user's home page or from within Activities, even if the task is associated to a specific account, the task is not listed under that account.

Would be interested in any way to modify or workaorund this behavior or understand why this occurs if this is by design.

I have already tested this in my 4.5.1b and it seems that it works.

What is the status of your problem task? For example: task with the 'Completed' status goes to History subpanel and not to the Activities.

Also I know that this can be a problem if some not standard Statuses are used. I mean created via Studio.

Another think: maybe you have an issue with some view permissions. Give us more details.

Ah thanks very much, the tasks were definitely not started when I created them but I just noticed that the status field was blank when I found them by searching tasks -- I am certain that field was set on "Not Started" when the tasks were created as that is the default which I didn't change -- perhaps this is a bug in the create task field when not done from within an account? Looking at that form it is not actually possible to not select a status.

Anyway they show up when I edit them and set the status correctly.
