Creating Contacts via Account Subpanel

Whenever anyone tries to create a contact within the Contacts Subpanel in an Account, after clicking save internet explorer says it can not load the page.

This only happens in internet explorer, it works fine in both Chrome and Firefox.

I did notice though that in Firefox a "Duplicate Contact Record" page comes up after i hit save, while in chrome that page doesn't and it just goes straight to save.

SugarCRM: Version 5.1.0a (Build 4837), hosted on IIS 6 using MySQL and PHP Version 5.2.6

Internet Explorer 7 (Haven't tried it on any other browsers)

Any help would be great, and much as i'd love to have everyone in the office using firefox it's just not going to happen.

I tried to replicate this issue using IE7 by creating a contact from the Account subpanel using both the short form and the full form and did not have any problems.

Do you have any custom fields in the Contacts module? or did you make any layout changes? Can you be a bit more specific as to each step you are taking?

I don't have any custom fields in Contacts, and haven't changed the layout at all.

One thing i did notice is the URL that is in internet explorer when it gives me the error is this:

Do you have any roles set up?

yeah a few, but they all have permission to create accounts and contacts.

We're getting a similar problem when adding contacts into the Accounts subpanel. When we go to save the contact, we get:

Click Accounts > account_name > Create (under Contacts panel)
Add some information there
Click Save

Is there a fix to this problem?
