Default Creating custom theme for Sugar 5

Hello, how are you? I'm writing you because I need to create a customized theme for sugarcrm 5.0.0d.
I want to know how can i do to create a custom theme with a custom layout, fonts and colours.

Can anybody tell me which are the template files that I have to modified?

Thank you very much for help.

    Cheers!

Work with the /themes directory. I would use a copy of an existing theme and modify from there.

If you want custom layout get ready for fun. This is much more complicated as you will be working with the .js files.

Stick to colors and searching the files from there. If you aren't really sharp in the java and php I would put a post in the work area and pay somebody to help.

    thanks Paris

That is what I need. I am in the process of implementing Sugar for our organization and whilst they love what I have done with the theme they all complain that the "Two Column" layouts for edit/view are just not good enough and basically a waste of real estate considering most users have 19" widescreen monitors. Also, we are coming from an environment where some of our apps were custom built and have a much more streamlined navigation than Sugar.

I am handy with php/js so modifying that is not a problem. Here is what I am trying to do:

    1. Have more than two columns in the edi/view layouts
    2. Have information from more than one module on a screen. For example, when editing a contact I need a field in the view layout that shows the date and topic of the last meeting I had with the contact. Or when viewing an account I need a field that shows the outstanding amount on their orders.
    3. Have any of the modifications in 1 & 2 be upgrade safe. This is a requiirement from the operations manager just in case I am not around anymore.

I got a week to show that it is possible before I am forced to start looking at other CRMs.

    TIA

    Diego
