creating dashlets from custom modules

Hello everyone,

I am completely new to SugarCRM and I have couple of questions regarding custom modules -
1)is there a way how to create dashlet from custom modules? is seems that is only offering the predefined modules....

2)when I create custom module how do I add or create hyperlink on custom field in normal view (overview) - lets say I did create product module - on of the colums (which I am viewing in list view) is called "product_name" - if the user opens the module, he sees the product name but he is unable to click it (ie. no hyperlink), there is only icon "edit".

the system we use is sugarappliance vmware.

SugarCRM 5.0 with MySQL and Apache on Linux (LAMP)
