Creating a new Drop Down without values is not editable

I created a new Custom Field Drop Down Table but did not populate it with any values. Now, when I go to edit the drop down, there is no way to add values to it.

Is this a known bug? I have searched the forums for keywords with no results

I encountered that some time ago... The only solution I found was to edit the file /custom/include/language/en_us.lang.php and to complete manually the dropdown list or to delete the void array and to create it again through the web interface.

Many thanks. I'll do that. It was good to know it was not my system. I presume someone in Sugar has this on a development to do list

Yes, we're aware of this bug. As far as I know it's been fixed already (we spotted it internally last week) but I'm uncertain what the bug number is.

also typo....

I havn't checked 5.0RC yet but there is a type on the edit drop downs screen.....

"You can either edit an exisiting drop down or create a new drop down."
