Creating Notes Under Leads

Using CentOS 4.4
PHP 5.1.6
MySQL 5.0.22
Sugar: Version 4.5.0h (Build 1239)

When I attempt to add a note under a lead all goes as planned, and I click save, and it appears to do something and the page refreshes. Unfortunately, on the lead listing I do not see the lead I just attempted to create. Also, if I go into he database and look under the notes table, I do not see my lead stored. Any ideas how to fix this?

I have my sugar folder set as CHMOD –R 777 so should not be permissions issues.

OK, I just tried it on both a linux server and a windows server and it worked on both so it's not a code issue. Do you have any modules loaded? Can you create a note in any other module? in the notes module itself?

You could turn up the logging level of your server and see if a message gets logged in your SugarCrm.log file. See this to see how if you don't already know how.

Ok I will install the debugging module, and let you know what I find.

Ok, I installed the debug config tool, but when I attempt to access the module the follownig appears:

Did you get any errors on install? that php is a built in SugarCRM file that should have anything to do the looging manager.

No errors installing the module. So its looking for that file Forms.php in the Configurator folder, which looking into that folder, such a file does not exist.

Sugar is such a piece sometimes.

So I uninstalled the Configurator and then deleted the package, and nice to see sugar didnt clean up its mess. Now when I go to local settings or system settings I get the following error:

This software is the most fusterating thing ever, seriously I would be so pissed if I paid money for this.

To All: Notes Not Being Stored Error Fix

The problem was that I had the tab activities not active, which is quite annoying, but at any rate that is the fix. I really wish they displayed a simple error message saying, you cannot add a note because teh activies tab is inactive, instead of saying nothing.

I still have the issue when I go to system settings I get the following error:

Any ideas how to fix this, this is caused by Configrator plugin scewing up.
