CRM's account page takes long time to load

Hi everyone,

I am very new to SugarCRM, so hope that you can please bear with me. Our office has a SugarCRM system for creating cases to work on. Then cases are assigned to "Accounts".

Today a user called in and told me that when she clicks a particular account, it would take forever to load. I notice that this "account" has over 5000 history and 2000 cases. while I click on other recently created "accounts" that has only few cases, it loads very quick

So... is there any way to performance tune this scenario? my assumption is that there are too many links to the account, so it loads slow. However, i can be wrong.

Please advice any suggestions if possible. I appreciate it very much. Thanks

A workaround that easialy can be done is to reduces the records per page on system settings configuration .

wingkchan tries to open just ONE special account and I'm sure the 'Subpanel items per page:' setting is more or less the default value of 10 so this shouldn't be the problem ...
