Help!!
A client of mine with a heavily customised SugarCE 4.5.1 instance has had their hosting server upgraded without my or their prior knowledge. In particular the PHP version has moved from 5.2.9 to 5.2.11 and this has caused the "Export As CSV" facility to break. Any attempt to use the export facility to create streamed CSV files causes a "Page not found" error in Firefox and an attempt to show a page of HTML in IE.
I am in the process of defining and beginning the upgrade process to bring their system up to at least SugarCE 5.2 but this will take time as there are several custom changes which have had to be made to baseline module files. I need to record each of these in turn and ensure they are ported to the upgraded instance.
In the meantime, my client is unable to use the export facility and this is causing them severe hardship as their business depends on being able to create spreadsheets of the CRM data to use. Without this they cannot operate properly (and I am getting grief because of this - even though it is down to the server hosting company!!). In short, as the PHP version cannot be back ported, is there a simple way of getting their CSV exports back on their 4.5.1 instance (even temporarily with a hack) so they can operate their business whilst I deal with the upgrade to 5.2 which should fix the problem (other clients of mine are at SugarCE 5.2 on the same hosting network without issues)?
Please help me out here
Thanks,
John.
