CSV Upload Problem for a new module

Hi

I am facing a new type of problem. I have a new module (through module builder) 'channels' which is similar to leads and has a data import option. I am using sugar os 5.2.e and previously it was installed on wamp. Later the instance shifted to rhel 5.4 with xampp 1.7. As soon as it was shifted the problem broke out. whenever I am trying to upload (say 3000-5000 chunks), the mapping page is showing the message that sugar is uploading chunks - the blue bar (1000 chunk wise) but it never ends (continues for infinite time) and page never goes to next page. Even it is not showing any error message, it just stops there and also not giving any log entry.

Please give some quick suggestions to resolve this

Look at your max_upload & max_execution parameters in the rhel php.ini files .... give them lots of headroom ... reboot server and try again ...

Also change the value in config.php " 'import_max_records_per_file' => '1000'," or break your data into smaller chunks

thx for ur reply. I did things according to you but the problem still persists. may be the problem is related to the database resource as I am using mysql-innodb, but really looking for an exact solution.

have you checked your PHP error log files?
