Sugar default currency is set to British Pounts, symbol: £
In all of the charts (flash?), this is displayed as: £
How do I correct this so that the currency is displayed properly?

What version of Sugar are you using? I have the same problem when I upgraded from 4.5.0e to 4.5.0f.
Sach
4.5.0f like you, although I've had the same problem through c,d & e. I raised a support case and the bug submission's been updated, but the status is still "new".
Boooooo. Not sure how to fix it. Will hav a word with a techie in my office about it.
Will let you know how to fix it if we know how to that is.
Sach
Hi,
There are similar problems trying to display the € sign. The problem can be fixed by changing the Currency symbol in Uncode format i.e. for € try "& # 8 3 6 4 ;" without the spaces), via Locale Settings in Admin or My Account.
Not sure what the Unicode no. is for the £ symbol, trying looking at http://www.unicode.org/
Hope this helps

Thanks, Malcolm, your euro post got me along the right lines. "& # 8 3 5 6 " works. We've recently had another post asking the same question and I've posted this there too.
I've tried this, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Am I missing a step?
I've enteres "& # 1 6 3 ;" (without the spaces) in the Admin/Locale Setting/Currency Symbol field, but nothing has changed.
I believe we fixed this by modifying the chart generators to specify the character set in the produced XML files as UTF-8 (which it is). The Flash chart then behaves as expected.
