Default current small issues/bugs with Sugar 6.1.2 - htaccess rebuild, logos

This is a fresh install from HostGator on monday 3-9-11. It included the demo data, which I manually deleted.
    CE6.1.2

I removed Company Logo - uploaded new
does not show - does not allow me to delete old one
Shows text "company logo" at top left
have tried uploading different image types - not working - uploaded image not showing in admin section

the RESTORE button in the System Settings does not do anything

    REPAIR link in admin section:
-Rebuild htaccess file- does not work - page reloads, does not say "complete" or anything like the others do

I have these 3 warnings in red at the top which I can't get to go away:
Note: To send record assignment notifications, an SMTP server must be configured in Email Settings.
Warning: Please upgrade Chart Data Cache using the upgrade in the administration panel
Warning: Please upgrade htaccess using the upgrade in the administration panel

Home Page - I cannot add a URL using the "add dashlet" link - it just does nothing when I try to save.

I have rebuilt everything and updated everything.

I am a newbie, but not afraid to get my hands dirty - just need to know where to dig.

Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

    Hi,

I'm experiencing the very same problem with a fresh install of Sugar 6.1.3, without demo data:

Warning: Please upgrade Chart Data Cache using the upgrade in the administration panel
Warning: Please upgrade htaccess using the upgrade in the administration panel

I would really love to fix it but I have no clue about what to search for.

The filesystem permissions are ok and my web.config (I'm on IIS) seems ok.

    My configuration is:

    IIS 7.5
    PHP 5.3.2 (FastCGI)
    SQL Server 2008 Express SP1

Anyone has an idea on what is going on?

    Thanks
