Custom Dashlet: How to add sorting and pagination

Hey people,

I have made a custom dashlet. this dashlets does not employee any services from the include/dashlets/
This has its own .tpl life

now here the trouble is.
Since its not using the template which all other templates are using.
There is no Sorting and Pagination in my custom dashlet.

Is there a way to add the pagination and sorting to this custom dashlet???
