Custom Document Filed

I would like to add a field to the accounts module that points at a specific directory on our network, along with a button to browse to that directory but cannot see how to do this.

I have tried adding a custom field but there doesn't appear to be one for a directory or folder location.

Can anyone advise if this is possible? I am guessing it must be as there is a document module that does something very similar already
