I have created a custom field to display in my accounts list as Building. I enter it into the accounts list and publish and save it and when I check under accounts it does show up. However the problem that I am having is that when I enter text into the field and save it nothing shows up. I deleted and readded the custom field and it creates fine. The data type is varchar. I have heard this problem can stem from a data type of varchar2. If anyone has come across this before please help. I need to create several custom fields in the future. I have only been working in SugarCRM for 2 weeks so detailed explanation would be greatly appreciated.
