custom field - type = time

I need to build a custom field with type = time, in studio i cant do that.

can anyone help-me?

i read the article and the first note worried me:

"The time will not save correctly due to date formatting being handled in core code"

what does this exacly means? will I have problems storing this data in the DB?

Yeah, we had to eventually just use the datetimecombo field and add a datetime field type instead of timer to get something like this working.
