Default Custom fields in email templates

    Hi,

I am building a new system using sugar 5.0. I have previously explored building it with 4.5.1 but I decided to wait and build it from scratch on 5.0 rather than having to go and upgrade 4.5.1 to 5.0.

The problem I am having is; I have created an email template that contains custom fields from both contacts and accounts but these custom fields do not get populated when the email is sent. The only value that appears is Salutation and Lastname as these are not custom fields where as all the rest are.

I have the same template running on 4.5.1 which I experimented with to test the email template functionality before I embarked on building the system and they work just fine there.

I am running Linux with mysql 5 and php 5. This is the same system that is running my 4.5.1 version too.

On a side note, has anyone had any difficulties adding addresses to the address book in 5.0? It does not work for me.

    Thanks
    Eamonn...

    Hi
I see you never received any help on this, but did you eventually sort it out?
I cannot even get it to work on my 4.5.1h system...any clues....?
(upgrading to 5.5 early next year probably).
    Thanks.
