Custom Fields Not Added To List Of Available Fields In Edit Layout

When I create a custom field, all goes well, but when I try and add the custom field I created into the Leads edit or view or search layout that custom field does not appear in the list on the far left with all fields.

This used to work, I have previously added 4 custom fields, but now all the sudden this happens. It is very strange, because the custom field exists, but they are not being added to the list of fields in edit layout.

I am using:

Sugar Version 4.5.0h (Build 1239)
Apache 2
MySQL 5
Running CentOS 4.4

Got it, I had to chmod -R 777 sugarfolder again, even I did that when I installed orginally, apparently some files got some weierd permissions.
