Custom Fields Not Displaying in a Standard Layout

This may be an easy one, but I can't get custom fields to display in standard layouts within Opportunities. I've added fields and then added them to layouts, but they haven't displayed yet on any layout I've tried. Steps taken:

1. Created new custom fields.
2. Went into Layouts, add a row, and added fields.
3. Save & Deploy.
4. Then went in to Admin and cleared the template cache for opportunities
5. Logged out (a few times)

The field types are nothing special (currency), and I'm only use front end forms, not manipulating the code (unless y'all tell me to )

I do know that clearing the cache does work, since we fixed a bug last week on an unrelated matter and it worked just fine....


I'm running 5.0.0.e (community)

Any ideas? (picture attached of a layout)...
