custom fields not saving

Hi

I am using Sugar Vserion: Version 4.5.0h (Build 1239)

in the Leads module i have defined about 20-25 custom fields (all various data types)

when i either try to enter a new lead via the web interface or via a lead import --- the custom fields are not being saved

i have looked in the leads_cstm table and have noticed that there are 2 records there -- both of which where created when the custom field list was very small---

no new records seem to be able to be added -- nor can those the 2 exsited records be modified

We ae having exactly the same problem. We have approximately 34 custom fields in the lead module and they are not being populated by import. Infact, the import never seems to complete (no Step 4). If I navigate away from the import screen, the main lead data has been imported but not custom fields.

I have tried repairing the custom fields - sugar wants to drop approx 12 of the custom fields but no explanation is provided as to why.

i'm able to import records -- and the base info holds -- it is the custom field info that is not populating ---

i can not even create a new records through the web interface -- not using the import feature.
