Custom fields not updateble

All, I am expierincing some very strange problems with my custom fields. When I create a new record I can enter values in my custom fields which are all being saved correctly.

When I change the record in a later stage and modify the value in the custom field and press save, the original value is being restored.

In other words, my custom fields are not updateble???

Does anybody know how to fix this issue?

Fixed the errro myself. It turned out to be a data issue. Messed up with decimal symbol and thousands seperator. Fixed all that and I was able to update my records again.
