    Default Custom fields save when create but not when edit?

    I have a few custom fields in contact module, 6 checkboxes and 1 dropdown list. When create a user and set a value in these fields everything works fine ( duplicate also work fine). When I later want to change the values by edit the contact and click on save- nothing is changed. I tried the repair feature in the admin panel and cleaned the cache, I also updated from 5.0 to 5.0b but the problem persists. Does anyone have any suggestion how to solve this problem or what it is rooted in? It is kind of time consuming to create a new contact every time I want to edit a contact.

    Hi, avantus.

    I don't know why, but it seems to be a html template for your Contacts module automatically generated.
    It is stored into cache directory.

    Thanks for your reply andopes,

    I looked into that, I thought it was some problems with the forms or the value or id passed from the HTML page. The problem is that can’t find any html templates in the contact module. In pre 5.0 releases there was a editview.html file, but after the restructuring of the application that file is gone. Maybe I completely misunderstood you now?

    I am really appreciating all tips I can get
