Hi all,

I know I must be boring posting message about the same topic everyday...but I do not manage to make it work!
Is there any tutorial on adding custom fields ?

What I did: edited the 'create Account' page and added a textt field (so the label and the field appear in the toolbox area). Added some rows and added my custom field (the label and the text field) in the page and finally clicked on "save layout". At this time another text field appears in the toolbox, but without label...really strange!
Then I created a new account and put a value in my custom field. I saved the account and then went to the 'edit account' page: and my custom field was empty!

I do not know what I forgot.

I inserted the second text field (that should not have appeared in the toolbox) in my page, and another text field appeared in the toolbox. Each time I insert the unwanted text field a new one appears...

Can anybody help me ? Is there a bug ? Is there any patch ?
This is a brand new sugarCRM 2.5.1 on Easyphp 1.6 on an XP SP2.
