Good day All,

I created a custom field in Cases and then added some java script code to it, to make it more dynamic by using the editviewdefs.php in the custom directory.
But after i synced the portal with the parent Sugarcrm instance the fields alone appeared in the Portal but not the customizations i made to it. My challenge though is that following the same method of adding the customization on the portal as i did in the parent sugarcrm instance does not work, the javascript is not added to the generated html at all (that is adding the custom code declaration to the editviewdefs.php in the portal custom folder).

So my question is please how do you add custom java script code to a portal field, custom of default.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
