Default custom module not accessible/visible as tab

    Operating System: Debian GNU\Linux 4.0
    Sugar Suite: 5.1.0
    Apache 2.2.3
    PHP 5.2.0
    MySQL 5.0.32

We have built and loaded a custom module but it is not appearing as an accessible module in the user interface. It shows up under Studio and as a module to configure permissions for under "Role Management" but otherwise is not visible.

We followed the steps under this wiki entry
    http://www.sugarcrm.com/wiki/index.p...4.5_or_greater

the studio upgrade script didnt exist so we just ran the quick repair and rebuild under admin->repair

what alternate steps can be taken to make this visible as its own tab?

    Hi jmassey119

    Check these points:
    1. Did you unchecked the "Display tab" when creating the module through Module builder?
    2. Go to Admin -> "Configure Tabs" and make the module is under "Hide Tabs". if yes, drag it and drop to "Display Tabs".

Hi andopes and thank you for your response:

    1. Did you unchecked the "Display tab" when creating the module through Module builder?
Yes, the "navigation tab" box is checked and it has been given a label name in the module builder

    2. Go to Admin -> "Configure Tabs" and make the module is under "Hide Tabs". if yes, drag it and drop to "Display Tabs".
The module does not show up as an available tab under the "configure tabs" section

would you suggest any other next steps? thanks again

    Hi andopes,

I have a similar problem, followed the steps under the same wiki entry.

when i go to admin->studio-> MyModule ->Layouts only List View and Search are visible.
I want EditView for that module(In Studio).

BUT when i go to modules list view(from the module tab),the list has the Edit button for every records in the list.

Now i want the "edit view" from studio.
as specified in wiki, where can i find "Studio Upgrade Script".I have studio.php file under MyModule/metadata.
    sugar version:5.2.0
