custom module, returns to home?

i have created a custom module and in the edit view there are 4 custom hidden fields (I don't know if this is effecting it) but when i create a record it saves fine and returns to detailview. But when i edit that record and save it send me to the home tab, I am at a complete loss as to why.

I assume you are editing from the Detail View? If you are editing from a Dashlet on the Homepage it will go to the Homepage. Have to modified the behaviour of the Save Button?

i haven't changed the save button and yes you are correct this is being edited from the detailview

Disregard this it has nothing to do with sugar it was some custom javascript i had made that disabled the fields
