    Default Custom Module Subpanel Relationship

My group is fairly new to Sugar. Using CE 6. I created a custom module called Trainings. I related that to another custom module as well as Accounts and Contacts.

I imported a few hundred Trainings records and after some trial and error got it to assign the correct Account/Contact based on using the ID.

My problem, though, is that corresponding Contacts or Accounts do not show the Training in a sub-panel even after I created a relationship (many-to-many) in the relationships section in Studio.

Any help here? I already tried doing a quick repair/rebuild to see if that would help anything. It didn't.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

From your description I could figure out the flow you followed -> Created custom module -> Related it with Contacts, etc. modules -> Imported data well -> Then to have a subpanel of your custom module you created 1 more relationship(many-to-many).

New relationship will create new table altogether in database. You should write a code to have subpanel of your module from the first fields you created for relationship between custom - contact modules.
    Thumbs up.

You are correct in the flow.

I did realize that the new relationship creates a new table, but I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean by:

Do I need to add code to have the subpanels display the relationships? By creating the field for the related Contact in my Training module (the custom one), does that not already create the relationship so that it would display in the subpanel?

If not, what kind of code would I need to add, and where?

    Thanks!

THe same: i've created new modules and after some reployes, now these modules have disappeared from the subpanel list of the Account module. I'm sure that they were there at the beginning.
Maybe I've lost them after some deploying operation.

The point now is: how can i make them re-appear?

I tryed to "rebuild" the relationships, but it didn't work.
    Should i edit some file?

    Thank you for your help

Unfortunatly it happened again for me...
i noted that when you rebuild the relations, you loose the own configurations (i.e. the forms layout) for the custom modules..
that seems a big bug in the version 6.0
Anybody else with the same problem?
