Default Custom module using default Sugar module information in Studio

I have searched the forum and Wiki trying to see if anyone has had a similar problem and could not find a similar issue - or did not happen to use the best search words - so anyways, here's the issue...

I created a new module in Module Builder called "Payer Pontacts". This module is similar to Sugar's default module "Contacts" but is definitely not the same. After creating "Payer Contacts", along with a number of other custom modules, they were all deployed.

All of the module appear and work correctly. However, if I go to Studio, when I expand the "Payer Contacts" module in the tree menu - the fields and layouts show the default "Contacts" data and the "Contacts" module does not appear in Studio's tree menu. There is no way I can edit "Payer Contacts" using Studio since it is using the "Contacts" data. And as I said before, if I go to add, edit or view "Payer Contacts" in Sugar itself, everything is working correctly.

Is there a broken relationship somewhere? Do I have to redeploy everything again from the Module Builder?

System info - Sugar 5.0 Community Edition running on Apache installed on a Windows Server 2003 SP2 and using MySQL.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hi Sevenfour,

Probably you will have to change the module in the files.

There are fields that are not edited by Studio.

    thanks for the reply -

Do you mean copy the directory structure for that module to where studio grabs it source files from? If so, can you provide a sample "from" directory path to the "to" directory path - just want to make sure I am not working in the wrong locations.

    Thanks!
