Custom Report Alignment

Hello All - Starting off, this is my first post, so if I'm in the wrong area, I would appreciate any direction as to where I should be posting this question.

I have a custom summation report with 2 grouping levels and when the report is displayed the alignment is way off. The colum heading are not lining up with the data beneath it. Any suggestions? Is there any where to change or set aligment parameters?

I have exactly the same problem, so if anyone out there can provide an explanation then I would appreciate it as well.
