Custom Tabs

Hey guys,
I am new with Sugar (ver 6.0.1) and have been feeling my way around fairly easily. I do have some questions that I would like some help with though:

1. Is there away for me to create "sub tabs" ie, in Contacts I would like sub-tabs (just like how there are "import" " View"etc ) based on location so when I click on these tabs, only the contacts from that particular location will be displayed.

2. I would like to create a navigation tab to show all changes that have taken place through-out the system.

3. I would like to be able to flag a contact for not performing (red for bad and yellow for a warning)

Ok,
I was able to figure out the "sub tabs" by adjusting the menu.php file (i have added it into the custom/modules/Contacts/Ext/Menus/menu_ext.php file). Here is an additional question about this though:

How would I go about changing the menu.php file so that the " New Menu Item" known as "Kingston" filters the contact location and only shows contacts that are in "Kingston"?

I still haven't figured out the other 2 questions, but I am trying. Some help would be appreciated!

when the user clicks on the button named "Kingston", only the contacts from Kingston will be shown.
