    Default custome fields, multiple instances

    Hi,
I wanted to create a group of fields that behave the same way the Email field behaves in Contacts,I would like to use Sugar in the mordgages /insurance business and I need to record whether the customer has already accessed the credit market, with what institution for what type operation for how much money etc. SInce one individual can have 0 or multiple records to be created, I would like to set this up the same way the Email fields works, where I can add multiple email addresses and for each one I can set a number of parameters. How do I set up a custom field working this way?
    regards

How about creating a custom module to record the information with a relate field to contacts?

Then create a one-many relationship to contacts + setup a subpanel under contacts

    Hi,
I never created a module but in principle, if what you say is possible it could work. However what I get from your post, assuming (as I do) you know Sugar much more than I do, what I have in mind is not easily achievable.

I'm not saying the way you suggested is difficult - its just not something i've tried

By using the custom module route you can easily associate as many lines as you want with multiple fields to one contact
