Customer Access to Customer Portal

Hello

I am running sugarcrm 5.2 on a windows platform. very simple CE edition

I want to be able to allow my clients to look at their cases and update them. I found how to make them a portal user, how to set a password up for them but can't get anyfurther. . . . .

1) what is the client access portal url?
2) how do I set up what they are allowed to do?
3) is there a userguide for the portal?

The Customer Portal software is only a feature of the Enterprise edition of Sugar, not the CE edition.

It's OK - we made our own customer portal, email me if you want it.
