Customer notification of cases created

[SIZE=3]Hi, im new to sugar and after some help, my md wants a system where by our receptionists can create a case against a contact/account and an email notification be sent to both contact and the assigned person, is this possible im running Version 4.5.1e (Build 1049) [/SIZE any help would be appreciated,as i dont want to have to get someone to write me a database that will be slow and clunky]

Hi, Thorpe.

You must modify the script 'modules/Cases/CaseFormBase.php' to send an e-mail to contact and assigned user.
The $_POST array contains all data you need to do that, and there is a library into sugar responsible for writing and sending e-mails to one or more recipients: include/phpmailer/class.phpmailer.php

At the top of function send() of modules/Emails/Email.php has a creation/sending of e-mail using this class.
