    Exclamation [SOLVED]Customer Portal -- login credentials fail

    I just installed the user portal that came with Enterprise edition.

    I can't get any of my portal usernames/passwords to work. I have read several threads of similar problems but no solutions have worked so far.

    Regardless of how may time I reset the passwords I always end up getting "Error: Please enter your user name and password:"

    Like other posts have recommended I have checked the database directly to ensure that the users accounts are active, cleared browser cache, tried from other computers, resetting passwords, and trying brand new accounts all together and verified that the users are not set to any other teams, etc.

    Any ideas? Anybody know of other posts that address this that I can read?

    Ok....for some reason now I am able to login....sort of; however, the login screen never goes away. In addition, the "My Account" and "Logout" links appear in the upper right of the screen, but clicking on My Account results in being redirected back to the login page and clicking on any menu items in the nav bar results in a message that says "Error: Please sign in to access this area. ".

    Could this be session related? I have tried to login on 3 computers with the same results everywhere.

    Any ideas???

    I can't solve this for you, but I am getting the same on a localhost install of 5.5.1 RC.

    I now have a solution:

    Update Sugar! 5.5.1 RC has a SOAP problem that keeps users from authenticating correctly. I spent about an hour with Ken at Sugar support going over every inch of the server to no avail. After a simple update to 5.5.1 Build 1202 everything started to work perfectly.
