Customisation of adding leads

Hello,
Due to the great community and wiki I managed to get SugarCRM running. There are some customisations needed.
In the studio I edited the leads module with a new drop down box. Thats working smooth, but two questions arise:

- How can I edit the "new lead" form so that the dropdown box I created can be used for new leads?
- How can I sort the leads overview depending on the values as set in the leads input? For example in the New lead the value of the Dropdownbox = 1. How can I make the dropdownlist value 1 in the advanced lead search so that only the leads with dropdowbox =1 are shown?

1) you can add the code to the insert lead page manually

2) Please go to Admin/Studio/Edit Module/Leads/Edit Layout/

click on link "Search Form"

Add new row and add your drop down(custom field) to the search form
