Newbie here. I have been doing bit of customization since Sugar 5.1 - 6.2 so far and really enjoy the power of Sugar.

I have completed some customization on VoIP server and manage to directly update the call record and developed some php which update the call table using SQL on all phone calls.

Is there any posibility to change the call dashlet to includes some customize php call (say with a module like connect does) on the existing module? I have create a new url dashlet (calling a php file) of calls module that has a little "Create lead" icon when the phone is not recognized allowing user to click and create new lead, pulling it's number with last name verified from 411, but this is redundant. Can this be done on existing call module dashlet? Need an upgrade proof way.
