Dear Community,
I am using SugarCRM 6.0 Community edition on OpenSuse 11.3 with MySQL 5.1 & Apache Web Server
I have customized the "Prospects" module extensively from the studio. Just added & renamed a few field and Changed "search" layout as well .
Regular user can access, import and edit all the records from this module, but a regular user is not able to CREATE a new
record or DUPLICATE an existing record. As soon as the regular user is removed from the assigned role, he is able create new
records. I tried following things to fix this:
1> Giving all permissions to regular users via role management...
2> Unhiding Modules from Regular User's Home Page
3> Reset Regular User's Preferences & Homepage
4> run "<SUGARHOME>/index.php?module=ACL&action=install_actions"
a> when user is logged in.
b> after making Regular user a sys-admin.
c> after removing a regular user from any/all roles
5> Tried using "Repair Roles" and "Quick repair and Rebuild" from Admin Menu.
6> I have also checked sugar wiki page @ http://www.sugarcrm.com/wiki/index.php?title=ACL
Nothing have worked
An admin does'nt face any of the above issues
I have also attached a screenshot of acl_actions table for "Prospects" module. Somewhere i read that this table needs 8 entries per module. in my database there are only 7 entries per module. could this be a source of problem?. what should be the 8th entry in such case
I am planning to customize other modules also according to my needs. However, I dont want access problems like these for
customized modules
............Please Help..
